This is the Whaley House...inhabited by the Whaley's in the 1800's...and now supposedly haunted by them.



The Whaley house is supposed to be the most "haunted" house in America. Hmm....

Old Time Pt. 1

Featured here (and tomorrow) are my pictures of what you could call "Old Time" things.

These pictures are of an old adobe, preserved at a local hiking area.



On one side of the house is a little arboretum...



Yes that is pretty old time...but it isn't. This is a skeleton in the queue for the Indiana Jones Adventure ride at Disneyland. We would call this "Fake Old Time." :-)

You should know...

...that it is Memorial Day.
Created as Decoration Day in the 1800's to honor the fallen heroes of the Civil War, Memorial Day is now for honoring all of the men and women who have given the ultimate sacrifice...for our freedom!
